Zoe Novak
Practicum Student
My heart is towards anyone who feels like they have lost hope for finding peace, self-acceptance, and healing in their life. I strive to use research-supported methods to help clients grow in their understanding of the pain they are experiencing, and how to move forward in their healing journey.
I believe that to truly find this healing we must examine the entire self: mind, body, and soul.
I am most passionate about incorporating forms of creative expression into therapeutic practice, such as art, music, and story-telling, to guide self-discovery and healing in an abstract way. These are built-in tools to help our bodies process and heal when other forms of counseling alone seem to fall short.
My desire is to walk faithfully alongside clients to provide them with the support they need as they explore their personal strengths, find their true identity, and discover a sense of purpose and hope beyond their pain.
I feel that every person has the power to rewrite their story, and given the right tools can find true healing in all areas of their life. I am eager to be working with Heartcore to help people find hope again.
