Join Soulful Saturday where you can discover the wonder and freedom of being playful, mindful and expressive through trauma informed yoga, guided breathing and meditation, movement, expressive arts and self-reflective ceremonial practices.

SomaSoul® Somatic Processing and ShakeYourSoul®, The Yoga of Dance Expressive Movement Practices are based on contemplative, intuitive, and compassionate methods of engaging with the psycho-physical experiences held within the body.
This workshop enables you to:
Discover the body’s profound connection to your lived experience
Develop grounded and embodies presence in order to attunce to felt sensations
Access the wisdom of the emotional body in order to respond with greater self-awareness, acceptance and self-compassion.

We’ll begin our Saturday together with a gentle, grounding guided meditation: an invitation to slow down and fully arrive in mind, body, and spirit. No pressure to do it “right” - just an opportunity to be with yourself, as you are. This session sets the tone for the day ahead: spacious, intentional, and rooted in presence.

Yoga for Every Body: Choose Your Own Adventure!
Lead by Paula Soto
Join Paula for trauma-informed yoga session - with options to fit your relaxation needs! Instruction will be both accessible and diversified - you choose whether you want gentle, relaxing stretching or a more focused and intense practice to release stress - and you can switch between options at any time.
This class is appropriate for people with any or no prior yoga experience. Chair yoga options will be offered throughout as well.

ShakeYourSoul® Expressive Movement

ShakeYourSoul® offers a transformative, immersive journey that blends various dance and movement practices designed to strengthen the connection and unification between body, movement, and life force energies with self and others.
Explore innovative, natural movements guided by world music to cultivate a fluid and dynamic dance expression that is liberating, meditative and joyful.

SomaSoul® : The Pathways of Reflection & Expression
Lead by Kimberly Hanson
Deepen the experience of mindful movement through SomaSoul®’s expressive arts practices. This process will provide a safe supportive space to respond to the embodied insights of somatic engagement and aesthetic responses such as image making, gestures, journaling, playful enactment and imaginative processing.

Cacao Reiki Ceremony
Lead by Sarah Michaels
A cacao ceremony with Reiki is a heart-opening ritual that combines the spiritual use of ceremonial-grade cacao with the healing energy of Reiki to promote emotional release and inner alignment.
Participants often experience deep relaxation heightened intuition, and a sense of connection to themselves and others.

The workshop provides over 4 hours of enriching and comprehensive mind/body experiences intended to build on each other.
Soulful Saturday is priced inclusively at $100.

We hope you won’t need to, but should you need to “gracefully bow out”" you may email us on this website’s contact page, or notify via the Practice Better program portal at least 5 days before the event.
Please note a $25 cancellation charge will be deducted from you registration fee, and the remainder refunded. Registration fees for any last minute cancellations less than 24 hours before the event will not be refunded.

Most importantly, your open mind, heart and enthusiasm to explore and grow!
Please wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for movement (athletic, fitness attire for yoga/pilates is ideal).
Barefoot is recommended for the best experience, but if you feel more secure with dance shoes or grip style socks, that is acceptable too. Please leave street shoes off during the workshop.
Yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own and any other cushions or pillows you need.
A journal or sketchbook and colored markers and/or pencils (some art materials will also be available for use)
